“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.” — Alfred Stieglitz

Me, me, me!

Sam Canfor.

I was born and bred in the picturesque county of Norfolk, UK, and now make my home in the serene landscapes of Lincolnshire. My life has been a journey filled with exploration, and a significant part of that journey is my love for photography.

I consider myself a simple man, driven by a deep-seated desire to capture the world through my lens. While my day-to-day life involves working in engineering—a field vastly different from my artistic pursuits—photography remains my true passion. It's a creative outlet that, regrettably, I don't often have the opportunity to indulge in as much as I'd like.

Photography is a dream that lingers at the edge of my consciousness, a potential future venture that beckons me. Whether it will ever become more than just a hobby, I cannot say. But with a bit of luck and perhaps some help, who knows what the future holds?

What makes photography truly special and unique are the subjects I capture—each individual, each moment is a piece of art. To me, you are the embodiment of beauty and the reason cameras exist. You are art in its purest form, special and unique in every way. You are the inspiration behind every photograph I take.
